Athletics Updates

Tuesday, 4/13 is the LAST day of tryouts for High School Varsity Boys’ Basketball Summer League. Drop-off is promptly at 3:30pm through car loop and students must enter in through the MP room to get their temperature check and turn in their waivers. If your student-athlete does not have a waiver, then please instruct him to see Coach Patterson in Room 512, 2nd floor Secondary School to get one. If your student-athlete is 1 of 12 chosen for the summer league team, then more correspondence will be disseminated to families this week about that team.

Games start THIS Saturday, April 10th!!!

Please make sure student-athletes wear their masks as all times when checking in.  Student-athletes will be allowed to remove their masks once on the field/court of play.  They will need to put a mask back on when on the sidelines and enter/exiting the facility.  We also want to remind you to send your athlete with a full individual water bottle with their name clearly marked on it. There will not be water on the field to refill bottles or water provided by the league.

Just a friendly reminder that NCSAA will not allow fans to attend games this season.  Please be courteous and follow this policy, we understand that other leagues may be following a different policy, however our teams are playing through NCSAA and we will follow their league policy.

Soccer parents are welcome to watch from outside the gates just like practices. We also ask that you follow good sportsmanship etiquette and socially distance with families. Please note that if a spectator is disrupting a game due to poor sportsmanship or not following league policy the game will be paused and coaches will have to address their families as needed. We don’t anticipate there being any problems as our families are amazing but want to be sure we communicate clearly with everyone.

Volleyball parents we are working on finding a way to stream games for you. Please look for further information to come out on your team’s BAND app.

Thank you for all you do to support our school and your athletes. GO PIRATES!!
