PINECREST Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body for the school, responsible for providing vision, leadership, accountability and financial oversight for the school.

Board Chair Person
Travis Keys is President of Revenue Media Group, a business marketing and consulting firm. In this role, he consults with businesses across the country on modernizing their marketing programs growing accelerating their growth. Prior to founding Revenue Media Group, he worked for 6 years as Publisher at Greenspun Media Group, overseeing various magazines and newspapers.
He has been serving on the board of Pinecrest Academy since before the opening of the first campus at Horizon. He joined the board with the belief that as parents and community members, we have a personal responsibility to improve the education in our state.
Travis and his wife Kim have five children, who attend Pinecrest Sloan Canyon.
Board Vice Chair Person
Kacey Thomas is originally from Southern California, but has been proud to call Southern Nevada her home since 1996. She and her husband, Matt have been happily married since 1995. She has been blessed with two amazing children. Her family is very active and loves spending time outdoors, taking trips and in general just having a fabulous time living life to the fullest! Her passion for life and her community is contagious! She thoroughly enjoys meeting new people and helping others.
Professionally, Kacey Thomas is in the insurance and financial services industry and is the proud owner of an independent American National Insurance Agency since 1999. Together with her husband, they also own an environmental consulting firm (ECOS, Inc.), specializing in water and wastewater management.
Kacey Thomas loves Pinecrest Academy of Nevada and has been actively involved with the school since before its inception. It was her pleasure to serve as the former Co-President and founding member of the inaugural Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Kacey was nominated and received the award for Nevada Charter School 2014 Parent of the Year. As a Board Member for Pinecrest, her goal is to ensure Pinecrest Academy of Nevada is the premier educational opportunity for our kids. She plans on accomplishing this goal by providing leadership and guidance; in support of the school’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment that maximizes student achievement, responsibility, respect, and lifelong success.
Craig Seiden serves as Vice President for Finance and Administration for Touro University Western Division which encompasses Touro University Nevada (Nevada’s largest medical school) located in Henderson, Nevada and Touro University California located in Vallejo, California.
Prior to joining Touro University, he served as Chief Business Officer for the University of Nevada School of Medicine between 2002-2007 overseeing the medical practices in Las Vegas and Reno. Seiden worked for five years as an auditor at the firm Conway, Stuart, and Woodbury and six years in the hotel industry for Hilton Hotels Corporation where he held the positions of Assistant Director of Operations and Assistant Hotel Manager for the Flamingo Hilton Las Vegas.
Seiden earned his bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from UNLV and an associate’s degree in food and beverage management from Johnson and Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island. He also completed master’s level accounting courses at UNLV as a prerequisite for the uniform C.P.A. examination. Seiden is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
He and his wife Jennifer reside in Henderson where they raise their three children, two of which attend Pinecrest Inspirada. Craig is originally from New Jersey but has proudly called Nevada home since 1990.
Marni Watkins is a mom of two wonderful girls; one of which is a Pinecrest St. Rose elementary student.
In addition to being a mom and a wife to a wonderful father and husband, Marni Watkins is an in-house attorney with Fidelity National Law Group handling litigation involving title and real property disputes. She litigates and manages lawsuits all over the State of Nevada and in all varieties and levels of courts from State Court to Federal.
Marni Watkins is originally from New Jersey and lived there until she attended college at the University of Vermont. After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont, Marni lived in New York City and worked in advertising as an Account Executive handling a variety of high-profile accounts, including Sprint and Marriot. In 2001, Marni left New York City and moved across country to California where she attended law school at California Western School of Law. After graduation from law school, Marni moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked as an Associate Attorney at Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen and Sanders where she met her husband Justin Watkins.
Marni Watkins’ husband, Justin is a native Nevadan, born in Las Vegas. The Watkins family has been dedicated to advancing education in Nevada for decades and hopes to continue doing so as an active and enthusiastic Board Member for Pinecrest Academy of Nevada.
Mr. Cahill graduated from Basic High School in 1992. After graduating, Mr. Cahill went on to get a degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University and has since earned a Masters in Education from UNLV. Mr. Cahill is currently a teacher at Basic High School as well as the head football coach as well.
Coby Sherlock was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. This southerner moved to Las Vegas in 2017 and currently serves as a mortgage lender at Movement Mortgage helping families achieve the American dream of homeownership. Additionally, he is a co-owner of Living Large Las Vegas, a multi-media company, and Movement Fitness, Vegas’ newest health club designed to serve the community.
He has a deep passion for education and is a proud graduate and past student body president of Middle Tennessee State University.
As a new husband and father, Coby loves to spend his time off with his wife Jane, and one-year-old son, Leo. You can often find them at Disneyland, Dodger games, the golf course, eating out at restaurants, and traveling to new cities.
Coby loves to serve the community and his vision is to continue to contribute to local government, service organizations, and community outreach programs in order to further provide the opportunity for others to reach their goals and dreams.
Dr. Jennifer Willamson
Jennifer Williamson is a life-long educator who was born in Ohio, but grew up in St. Louis. Anyone who is from St. Louis knows the most important question people want to know is what high school you attended. Jennifer is a graduate of Lafayette High School and Maryville University. She began her educational career as a seventh grade English/Language Arts teacher in a small town outside of St. Louis. She moved to Henderson in 1992 where she taught high school English and worked as a secondary reading specialist before earning her Master's degree in School Counseling from UNLV. Prior to accepting her current position as Assistant Principal at SLAM Nevada, she worked as a professional high school counselor for seventeen years and earned her Ph.D. in School Counselor Education from UNLV.
Jennifer has been married for almost 30 years to her husband, Robert, who is a computer programmer. She has a son, two step-sons, and one adorable grandson.
Jennifer is excited to serve the Pinecrest Academy community as a board member. She is passionate about education and will work actively in support of Pinecrest Academy of Nevada's mission and vision to work as a community to prepare students for college and career opportunities through encouraging performance at the highest level on all academic measures.
Jennifer is a HUGE Golden Knights fan and never misses an opportunity to see them play. She is also looking forward to cheering on the Henderson Silver Knights as well! Of course growing up in St. Louis, she is an avid Cardinals fan and loves the chance to watch them play at Busch Stadium whenever possible. She loves the outdoors and relaxing with a good book. Her favorite author is John Steinbeck. She especially loves his book, Travels With Charley, because it gives a wonderful view of life in small town American, not to mention traveling (another one of Jennifer's passions!).
Board Member Jennifer Williamson has an employment contract as an Assistant Principal at SLAM! Charter School located in Henderson, Nevada.
